UPDATE… We had a great time at our Open Studio!
Thanks to all of our designers and friends for stopping by! We had a fun day and can’t wait until the next one! (look at all my exclaimation points, obviously I had a great time)
Inspired by Pantone’s color of the year Emerald, we pulled out all of our Emerald and Green sample boards. And invited a few friends over!

A few demonstrations and some socializing.

We got to show off our newly printed Floor Portfolio. Looks so cool! Wendy Danziger asked where we were doing the book signing. Isn’t she sweet! I’m still working on the Walls and Architectural Finishes Portfolio. Hopefully that will be done next month.

Around the studio we staged a few of our upcoming projects, including this sisal for DC Design House, that was designed by Scott Cooke.

Metallic finishes, silver leaf and gold leaf on glass, and our new samples that we’re painting on wallpaper. Someday we’ll get a line of custom painted wallpaper going!
This is a woodgraining project we’re doing with Oak Grove Restoration. They’d like to have this new set of Windsor chairs painted with a faux bois finish that looks like this wooden chair (left).
A botanical mural for a dining room for Andrew Law. Some of our favorite hand painted silks.

A canvas floorcloth, another sisal rug. These are from our collection of samples.

And everyone left with a gift bag!
We’re having an open house!
Friday, March 15th
Stop by any time between 9:00 – 4:00

We’ll have a ton of samples out with a focus on Pantone’s color of the year Emerald. We were also inspired by Simplified Bee who has a great post on the Malachite design trend. We’ll have samples like this faux Malachite, Emerald metallic finishes, and great patterns. Stop by to check it all out, get some yummy noshes, and say hello. We’d love to see you!
