UPDATE We have a winner!
We’re sending a big CONGRATULATIONS to 14040 for being the most favorite scarecrow on Esworthy Road! This little corgi creation lights up when the sun goes down for extra fun.
I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for participating. That includes all the scarecrows as well as all the voters! You made our hearts happy to see all the creativity and fun happening on our little road. Let’s do this again next year!

Esworthy Road Scarecrow Contest Details
Calling all Esworthy Road neighbors! Let’s celebrate fall with a neighborhood scarecrow contest! This is a family friendly event meant purely for entertainment. If you’d like to enter, great! And if you’d rather just enjoy the fun, that’s fine too. There’s no charge to participate. Anyone on Esworthy Road is welcome to play along!
Now, it’s not a real contest if there isn’t a prize, right? Billet Collins is offering $75 to the best scarecrow! Everyone is asked to vote for your favorite online. Read on to find out how.
To Participate
It’s easy to participate. Create a scarecrow of your choice using whatever materials you have. Please keep your creation family friendly and non-offensive. Place your masterpiece near your entrance so neighbors can see him. Remember, do not block your mailbox or the road. Scarecrows should be in place by Sunday, October 25th.
And if you want to play along but don’t want to make a scarecrow, just go get one at Michael’s! It’s all in good fun and the more people that play along, the more fun it will be to drive down Esworthy Road! If you need inspiration, here are some scarecrow ideas.

For More Information
This is my first scarecrow contest, so if there are a few questions that I missed, just drop me an email. I’m Kellie at info@billetcollins.com
Why are we doing this? Billet Collins is a decorative painting studio located on the corner of Esworthy and Seneca roads. Our family moved here in 1987 and started the studio in 1995 and I thought it might be fun to bring the whole neighborhood together for some fun shenanigans! Here’s a little bit about Billet Collins Studio.
Good luck!
