RED ACCENTS
DECEMBER 2022
The red headboard is to die for! Love the rusty hue of the textile as a red accents in an otherwise light room. Hello luxury!
Rehoboth Beach interior designer Jess Weeth of Weeth Home has such a great historic aesthetic while still feeling light and airy. Loving all the textures and jewel-tone colors in this cozy guest room. Is it the layers of blankets? The antique brass? The sparkle of gold on the bedside wall sconce is lovely against the hand painted walls and painted black side table.
My decorative artist eye caught the hand painted walls first, of course. A soft, hand painted colorwash glaze adds a patina to the room that fits just right in with the wool blankets. Does the nightstand need a little painted box? I think so too, although the metal luster of that little trinket box is lovely.

The black and red accents in the guest room are so inviting! I’m ready unpack my suitcase! Can’t you just imagine cozying up with a cup of tea and a good book?
Cheers!
