Trending Now: Wall Murals
We have done a LOT of murals this year. From stylized Grandma Moses landscapes that include generations of family members and the family home in Cape Cod, to delicate Chinoiserie botanicals that represent each daughter in a family. Click Mural Portfolio
The Potomac Plum Blossom Mural
The mural pictured above was for a residence just outside of DC in the new Quarry Springs in Bethesda, Maybe you know of it. These luxury condos have terrific access to DC as well as the C&O Canal and Potomac River. Designing the artwork to reflect the flow of the Potomac River was a happy accident, pointed out by real estate friend, Ben Rivlin. But what a wonderful way to celebrate the local landmarks of this new home!
Interior designer Scott Cooke was able to be specific about what colors and style of art he preferred for his client. Artist Roberta painted the botanical wall mural in a watercolor style with soft details.
The artwork was painted on canvas and installed in three panels which added architecture to the room.
Stay tuned for final photos which will be posted in the Mural Portfolio!
