We finished up the porch floor and I thought I’d show you some photos of the project in progress. I love a Before and After.

This is how the room looked before we got started. Wow, right? Designer Liz Levin updated the structure to better match the house. It’s now a three season porch for a busy family who could really use the space.
Liz showed us her fabric swatches and a design that she wanted us to use on the floor. We came up with some color selections and created a sample board for approval. She chose the green and cream sample (left), which will be easier to live with for longer. The orange dots are fun, but a few years down the road you might get tired of them.
Next we had the stencil laser cut, so we had a few of the exact same stencil. Here’s Amy painting the first color green. We come back around and put the cream dots and diamonds down next. We used Benjamin Moore Porch Paint, #546 and #413 in the classic deck.

And then the room gets installed! Ready for an iced tea!
