Are you an art collector? Or an interior designer with a client who loves art? Then floorcloths are a great find! These works of art for the floor are completely custom and perfect for a kitchen where art can be challenging to feature.
This kilim style floorcloth was inspired by the kitchen tile backsplash. The design tied the various elements together: the chair leather, the slate floor and the ogee tile backsplash are all reflected here in the colorful floorcloth.
This floorcloth was designed to be the artwork in the room for Danziger Design. The pop of aubergene brought energy into an otherwise white kitchen and was perfect with the art glass on display in this photo.
You might recognize this one from the 2016 DC Design House with Aidan Design. Floorcloths are so hard wearing, we were excited to test it out with the hundreds of house tours. The floorcloth left the DC Design House in beautiful shape and now resides in a lovely home with an art collection that includes Sam Gilliam and Henri Matisse.
So if you’ve been on the lookout for where to by a canvas floorcloth, you’re in the right place!
