We updated the Gerogetown home of a longtime friend and client with cleaner more contemporary finishes and patterns. The cover shows the dining room which is also used as a sitting room/library. I love the fact that the rooms are designed to be used, not just looked at. We put a Venetian Plaster finish on these walls in a luxurious Pear color. The homeowner has a great art collection that we incorporated into the design and color scheme. Check your mailboxes for the summer issue to see the rest of the house. Once Luxe gets the photos online I’ll put the link on our facebook page. I don’t want to spoil the surprise!
Luxe Magazine and Country Casual are hosting a Summer Soiree on Thursday. I really hope to see you there! I get so nervous going to these things, but I roped Mom and Amy into going with me. I mean we have to go if we’re on the cover, right?! Text me if you’re going!
